Tijdens deze workshop gaan we een linosnede meerkleurendruk leren maken.

Dit doen we door middel van de 'suicide methode'. Dit klinkt heel spannend, en dat is het ook!


We werken namelijk steeds door in hetzelfde stuk linoleum te gutsen.

Je gaat eerst alles wegsnijden voor de eerste kleurlaag, waarna je een aantal afdrukken maakt. Vervolgens gaan we verder met het snijden in hetzelfde stuk linoleum, waarna je de 2e kleurlaag gaat drukken. Zo ontstaan prachtige, unieke, gelaagde afdrukken.


Een ambachtelijk proces dat verrassend rustgevend en ontzettend leuk is voor nieuwsgierige beginners én creatieve makers. Alle benodigde materialen zijn inbegrepen, én je geniet van een heerlijke, zoete high tea en vegetarische lunch van Sevenhills.


Onze workshops staan volledig in het teken van het ervaren en ontdekken van traditionele druktechnieken. Na afloop gaat iedereen naar huis met zijn eigen unieke afdrukken, een goedgevulde goodybag én een flinke dosis creatieve inspiratie.

During this workshop, you’ll learn how to create a multi-colour linocut print.

We’ll be working with the so-called ‘suicide method’. It sounds quite dramatic, and it is!


This technique involves carving continuously into the same piece of linoleum throughout the process.


You’ll start by cutting away everything needed for the first colour layer, after which you’ll make a series of prints. We then continue carving into the very same block before printing the second colour layer on top. This process results in beautiful, unique, layered prints. No two are ever the same.


A creative process in a wonderful craft, that is surprisingly calming and great fun for curious beginners as well as experienced creative makers.

All materials are included, and you’ll enjoy a delicious sweet high tea and a vegetarian lunch from Sevenhills.


For those who wish to continue at home, a starter kit will be available to purchase during the workshop.


Our workshops are all about experiencing and discovering traditional printmaking. By the end, everyone takes home their own unique prints, a well-stocked goody bag, and a generous dose of creative inspiration.
